Millwall manager gives fans an update on transfers and loan players

Neil Harris has said there will definitely be movement in this months transfer window.

The Lions boss wants to add to his team after a tough first half of the campaign. Millwall have made one addition to their squad so far. Alex Pearce has arrived from Derby, while Byron Webster has left to join Scunthorpe.

“Whether it is the next week or two, there will be movement coming into the club. We need to add to the squad.

Fred Onyedimna returned to the club this week after his loan spell with Wycombe ended and Harris praised the attacker. “The key movement from us is that Fred Onyedimna is back with us. He has looked unplayable in two days of training. He couldn’t be involved in the squad today, so comes into the reckoning for next week.

Fans have been calling for Ben Thompson to return following good performances at Portsmouth.  When asked Harris had this to say; “Ben Thompson is available to come back from Portsmouth and we will be bringing him back to have a look at him. Tom King comes back from AFC Wimbledon and Sid Nelson will come back from Swindon.”

Byron Webster left the club this week for regular football and Harris said he has “no problem” allowing players to leave to play regular football. “If there are players who need to go out and play football I’ve got no issue with it. We’ve already let Byron Webster go to Scunthorpe, and if there’s anymore that need to go then so be it.”
